Metta (Loving-Kindness) Meditation is a traditional Buddhist practice designed to cultivate an attitude of unconditional goodwill, kindness, and compassion for oneself and all beings.
The Pali word "metta" is most often translated as loving-kindness or universal goodwill.
This practice encourages us to develop feelings of ease and love as boundless as the oceans that nourish our world.
The energetic process begins with establishing a powerful flow of positive intention that fosters brain-heart coherence, directly dissolving emotional blocks, often viewed as energetic "knots". It also activates the parasympathetic nervous system (Rest & Digest).
Ultimately, the concentrated intention of Metta creates a potent, protective and healing field of harmony that radiates outward, positively influencing the surrounding environment and interactions.
This meditation powerfully impacts your emotional, physical, mental, and spiritual well-being, fundamentally changing how you see yourself and, in turn, how you see the world.
